public class StatWin

extends LineChart

show(double[], java.lang.String, int) displays a window with a line graph. See LineChart for details. Killing the window terminates the entire Java session.

saveComponent(javax.swing.JComponent, java.awt.Component, java.lang.String) is a general utility for saving image files.

Parameters:

yArr - The y-coordinates of the line graph.

lim - Only the yArr[j] with 0 ≤ j < lim are used.

Method Detail

Parameters:

yArr - The y-coordinates.

title - The title.

lim - Only the yArr[j] with 0 ≤ j < lim are used.

saveComponent

public static void saveComponent(JComponent comptToSave,
                                 Component dialogParent,
                                 String suggestedFilename)

Saves a JComponent's image to a file in a format like png or jpg. The component should be showing on screen.

Parameters:

comptToSave - The JComponent to save.

dialogParent - The parent for the dialog boxes.

suggestedFilename - An initial default like myfile. The method will convert this to myfile.png, myfile.jpg, etc. It can be null.
